Eligibility
The competition is open to all registered UWI mona students.
Instructions:
Take a Photo of Buildings, Flora, or Fauna at the UWI Mona
Photographs must capture an outstanding feature at the UWI, whether a building, the flora, or the fauna.
Photos must be submitted in an electronic format along with the: student’s name, year and programme of study, student ID #, telephone, and email contacts.
Only one photo per entry and this photo must be the sole work of the entrants.
Submission Requirements
NB: Photo Format –
Jpeg, png, or tiff
Colour or grayscale
Min. resolution: 2000 pixels wide
Max file size: 10 MB
Terms and Conditions
Only winning photographers will be contacted.
Winning photographs will become the property of the UWIDEF, and once selected for a prize; participants thereby grant UWIDEF the right to use their names and pictures for marketing and promotional purposes.
Students must indicate where and when the photograph was taken.
Photos must not be created by or manipulated by software.
Photos should not include watermarks and descriptive texts,
Edits permitted: cropping, adjustments to exposure or colours.

The UWI Endowment Fund (UWIDEF)
The UWI Development & Endowment Fund (UWIDEF) was founded in 1990 as a registered charitable organisation to support the advancement of the University of the West Indies, Mona. Acting as a “bridge” between the University and the wider community, the Fund provides monetary and other support for the University’s programmes to facilitate the unlocking of West Indian potential to ensure continued growth and development within Jamaica, and by extension, the Region.
